  • Involvement with university strategy development in Learning and Knowledge Transfer.

Achievements include:

  • Building strong links with regional stakeholders – joint marketing, delivery activity and assessment;
  • ‘Orange Street’ Creativity Workshops for Students;
  • Staff Development workshops across the University;
  • New MBA Modules on Creativity and Innovation;
  • Entrepreneurial module development for other departments.
DR MARK EVANS

Achievements include:

  • development, validation and delivery of new MA Performing Arts, Innovation and Enterprise degree;
  • redesigning level one and two modules in Creative Enterprise to accommodate ‘stages’ approach to enterprise development;
  • engagement in new University research Group on Applied Research in Enterprise Education.
CLARE GRIFFITHS
Business Development Manager (Entrepreneurship) – University of Brighton

Achievements include:

  • creation of Entrepreneurship Steering Group to oversee developments right across the University;
  • new Beepurple Beehive Incubator facility for student start-ups in the university;
  • building strong Stakeholder links;
  • obtained funding to start building a team;
  • joint Conference venture with Canterbury Christ Church University.
KHALID HAFEEZ

Achievements include:

  • development of a strong doctoral and contract research team;
  • assumed reach-out role for School;
  • Head of Partnership Development;
  • developing Entrepreneurship Modules for postgraduate and final year undergraduate students;
  • international programme delivery (Malaysia and Brazil).

Senior Lecturer and Learning & Enterprise Centre Manager - University of Chester

Achievements include:

  • suite of modules now on offer to students across the University;
  • institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) accreditation of Enterprise and Social Enterprise Qualifications;
  • obtaining funding for development of Incubator Unit;
  • regular staff forums across all Faculties;
  • creation of Intranet Forum.
MAGDALENA KUROWSKA
Lecturer in Enterprise – Student Enterprise Centre, Coventry University

Achievements include:

  • Revision of five Level 1 Undergrad Modules;
  • Design of eight Level 3 Undergrad Modules;
  • New BA/BSc in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship;
  • Summer school;
  • Initial Planning in MA Global Entrepreneurship.
HUZEFA NEEMUCHWALA
Senior Teaching Fellow in Design Entrepreneurship – School of Design, University of Leeds

Achievements include:

  • Grant of £12000 for development of learning materials;
  • New ‘Students in Enterprise’ (SIFE) team at Leeds;
  • University wide Enterprise in Design module developed;
  • Grant of £60,000 for joint venture with Indian National Institute in creating Masters of Design Entrepreneurship.
MUHAMMAD ROOMI
Director of Research – Women’s Enterprise Centre, University of Bedfordshire Business School

Achievements include:

  • introducing Entrepreneurship into undergraduate programme;
  • planned undergraduate module across all faculties;
  • initiative for graduate incubator;
  • new modules on Venture Creation;
  • research award for entrepreneurial leadership education.
CHARLOTTE STUART
Creative Project Manager – Lancaster University

Achievements include:

  • joint venture with Careers and the Management School;
  • new taster courses for creative industry students;
  • setting up Young Creatives Network;
  • development of innovative pedagogies in consultancy programme and in Young Creatives Network;
  • developed Enterprise Summer School Programme.
TOM WILLIAMSON
Lecturer in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship - Institute of Applied Entrepreneurship, Coventry University*

Achievements include:

  • initiation of ‘Network Plus’, a monthly networking event for students and business;
  • development of ‘Coventry Means Business’, a student pairing with entrepreneurs through the IoD;
  • launch of Alumni for Enterprise, linking past students to University initiatives;
  • University Guest Lecture series.
